| Media Officer for Qatar VAMSYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for Media Officer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: • Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism/media or recognized media internship • 5+ years’ work experience including working in the media or related field • Demonstrated ability to research and write press releases and media content • Knowledge of web content development. • Demonstrates high level communication and influencing skills • Demonstrated ability to build good working relationships with media agencies. • Experience in scan all internet, print media and radio/TV broadcasts to identify any press coverage relating to client (bank). Escalate immediately any coverage which requires a rapid response. • Follow up on any customer feedback/complaints identified and ensure it is resolved or mediated • Timely identification and mediation/escalation of issues. • Produce a daily report covering `hot’ news and circulate to the appropriate parties. • Produce weekly media report tracking media coverage and impact. • Acts with a sense of urgency and is able to manage expectations. • Demonstrates persistence in seeking correct information and diligence in giving accurate information. • Fluency in Arabic and English Domain: Banking.
