| Traffic Management Director Global Engineering, Management and Specialist Technical Services company with 7 000 employees and over 80 offices worldwide is recruiting a Traffic Management Director with 15 years plus experience in traffic engineering and traffic modelling for major road infrastructure projects. Location: Doha, Qatar Type employment: 12 month contract renewable Remuneration: USD negotiable CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE WITH SHORT-LISTED CANDIDATES ONLY Skills & experience required: • 15 years or more experience in traffic engineering and traffic modelling for major road infrastructure projects • Be a qualified professional engineer or equivalent. • B.Sc. Degree in Civils or related. • Strong design experience. • Preferably someone already in the Middle East or must have worked there before (advantage) • Have demonstrated technical competence in the discipline. • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders. Job functions: The Discipline Director will be responsible for: • Ensuring that key design and review personnel have the appropriate level of experience and authority to fulfil their responsibilities. • Sound underlying understanding of main components of the company’s scope of services, i.e. highways and bridges designs, traffic modelling, traffic accommodation and utilities coordination in order to review content and quality of the company’s work and to be able to interact with KBR/Ashghal in this regard. • Sourcing of and review of the existing traffic demand model. • Establishment of baselines for future traffic demand modelling. • Specialist input in modelling, reviews and option assessment. • Specialist advice on traffic and transport technical matters. • Presentations and client interaction CV APPLICATION PROCESS: • Please ONLY submit CV and DO NOT submit additional documents. • CV must include current salary and salary expectation. • CV must include 3 contactable references. • CV must include availability / notice period. • Please quote reference in subject line: Traffic Management Director PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT FEEDBACK WILL BE WITH SHORT-LISTED CANDIDATES ONLY.
