| Material Specialist • Duties shall include providing Company with expertise suitable for assessing spare parts capacity and operating supplies requirement of the project. • The MS shall perform duties and responsibilities as per respective issued orders. He may not be changed without prior written approval of the Company. • Assist the Company Lead Material Specialist. • Cataloging / preparing SPAREs Database for uploading to SAP-Materials Module as part of Spares & Operating Supplies Team (SOST). • Detailed inspection of spare parts received at the warehouse, to obtain additional/Improved Descriptions and latest Part Numbers. • Review Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) for procedural correctness. • Research missing or incomplete information, to meet company standards. • Review the created items for the improvement of Buying Text during the SPT PO Stage/Warehouse Inspection stages. • Cross check existing SAP records and inventory for duplications including the use of Spares and SAP Search functionalities. • Update RSPL and Project Materials Master Form with Comprehensive Technical Buying Description. • Adhere to all Company Safety, Health, Environment al and Security Procedures, Rules and Regulations. | |
