| Project Sr Accountant KEY EFFECTIVENESS AREAS/ DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitors the contract payments of the project including project initiations, progress reporting and project disclosures • Adjustments of the payments according to the change orders as needed to maintain the accuracy of the financial information • Work with the Government Audit Bureau providing information, explanation and guidance to assure successful audit reports • Monitoring & processing the secondment staff payments • Review and check the invoice calculations and the supporting documentations • Experience in assisting for the preparation of the annual Budget • Strong organizational skills to get every task in a professional and in time with thorough understanding of accounting practice • Assists higher level accountants in solution of more complex problems and work under pressure to meet tight dead lines QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate must have: • A University degree or Diploma in Accountings • Minimum of 10 years experience in an accounting environment with extensive experience in projects accounting systems, organization and procedures • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs and related computer and IT skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English, and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, multinational team environment Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage | |
