POSITION OBJECTIVES
• Proactively source opportunities and develop key market contacts to ensure delivery of quality customer prospects in order to meet sales and revenue targets
• Cultivate relationships with new prospects to increase market share and meet sales and revenue targets
• Provide clients and prospects with professional, written documentation that accurately reflects the values and capabilities of our products and services
• To be responsible for every aspect of the partnership between the company and our customers. From initial contact to closing sales, consultative selling techniques should be delivered throughout
• To ensure the successful execution of various turnkey projects in the region including instillation and post implementation follow up service
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and make contact with potential customers through a sustained program of cold calling, mailing, following up referrals/leads and keeping abreast of competitors sales strategies
• Understand the customer objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes in order to provide relevant product delivery and develop relevant project scope, schedules and budget in accordance with customer requirements
• Delivery of assigned KPIs
• Identify and maximise opportunities to cross sell and up sell
• Assist with responses to tenders and development of cost estimates
• Generate, update, manage and report all project costs, including budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain contact with existing and potential customers to promote sales and deliver detailed account plans
• Deliver presentations of various and services products at customer sites and at conferences exhibitions
• Meet sales targets monthly and annually
• Attend trade exhibitions and user group meetings
• Maintain contact management database with accurate, up-to-date contact and activity details
• Produce monthly sales and productivity reports
• Direct and manage project execution, including activation and controlling internal and external project resources in accordance with the company’s policies, systems and procedures
• Obtain local quotes/pricing from potential sub-contractors (if applicable)
• Ensure the successful closure of the project, including final invoices, handovers and documentation
• Handle customer problems, complaints and questions in person or by telephone
• At all times maintain high level of knowledgeable about products and services offered by Equipro
• Mentor new sales staff
• Perform other related duties as requested by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience
• Proven track record in sales target achievement and solutions sales in the medium to large business markets
• Execution of all projects on time, within cost and to the customer satisfaction which will be measured in terms of growth in business of existing customers and in terms of acquisition of business of new customers
• Accurate and timely reporting of activities and statistics
• Professional, creative and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional levels
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, both Arabic and English preferred
• Excellent time management skills, ability t o prioritize multiple tasks
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Work well in a team and independently
• Keen intelligence and negotiation skills

Knowledge

• Minimum 2-5 years consultative sales experience
• Good understanding of the sales process and steps to closing successful deals
