| Registered Nurse Medacs Healthcare is working with a specialised Hospital based in Qatar. The hospital provides the highest possible medical treatment for sports-related injuries in a state-of-the-art facility, staffed by some of the world’s leading sports medicine practitioners and researchers. The hospital is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse, to operate as a member of the Ward team providing direct patient care in compliance with hospital standards and protocols. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will: Utilize the Collaborative Model of Nursing in the coordination, planning and assessment of patient care. Deliver care to patients and families that is culturally & religiously appropriate and promote positive health outcomes. Comply with the direction and guidance from senior nursing staff in the planning and delivery of patient care. Identify and report situations that affect, or have the potential to affect, patient safety and outcomes. Promote the application of evidence based data in patient care. Demonstrate effective written communication skills in clinical documentation. Clinical progress notes follow the S.O.A.P format. Maintain a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with members of the interdisciplinary team. Communication is guided by respect, trust and collaboration. Utilizes S.B.A.R. for verbal/telephone clinical communications. Demonstrates competency in using information technology (GE Centricity, OPERA, Integrity, OmniCell) to support the provision of patient care. Maintain annual mandatory and core competencies relevant to the position. Requirements: 12 months dedicated experience in a post operative nursing environment Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (minimum 3 years duration) as a Registered Nurse Bachelor of Nursing (strongly desired) 3 years overall nursing experience 12 months dedicated experience in a post operative nursing environment Licensed/Registered to practice professional nursing in home country and following application on arrival in Qatar Current Basic Life Support certificate or ability and willingness to attain such once hired Orthopaedic experience is preferred If you would like to discuss this fantastic opportunity in further detail, please do not hesitate to contact me. | |
