| Insurance Country Manager An award winning Insurance company based in Qatar is currently seeking to recruit a country manager to runs it branch in Qatar. You will be part of a wider gulf region team, however you will have sole responsibility for developing and expanding the Insurance sector within Qatar. Your responsibilities on a day to day basis shall include Profit & Loss, Budgeting, Reporting, Business Development, and managing 4 members of staff. You shall carry out a role that requires you to run a budget of around $5 million, with the aim of increasing revenue. You will need to posses a strong personality, not being office bound, being able to develop and maintain relationships with Brokers and other insurance companies. Ideally western educated, you should posses some commercial experience in both Europe, (ideally UK) and the Middle East. It is ideal if you have specific insurance experience coming from Energy, Engineering, Construction, Liabilities or properties background. Arabic language skills are not required.
